Royal Company was founded in January 1904 in a machine shop in Brooklyn, New York by Edward B. Hess and Lewis C. Myers.





In 1905, with their limited capital, Hess and Myers collaborated with Thomas Fortune Ryan, wealthy financiers. They demonstrated their machine with many innovations.

Now known as Royal Royal Consumer Products Inc., Royal has developed products in the field of cash register machines, shredders, PDAs / electronic organizers, postal scales, weather gauges, and other equipment such as printers currently the most popular, fax, and copier.
